With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Jacob Friebis (Chuck) of Columbus Ohio on August 8th of 2024. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) Friebis, sister Suzanne (Sue) Friebis, sons John and Chris Friebis (wife Mara), daughter Shaela Dekker (husband Nik) and his only grandson Cameron Friebis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Chuck spent much of his working career as a press operator at Nutis Press INC. He was a devoted father and husband. His life impacted many people and he will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The family would like to invite friends and relatives to the home of Charles and Betty Friebis to gather, and share memories and stories on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A service will follow at 4:00 PM. For directions, please contact the family.
