Clyde N. Young, age 99, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on June 29, 2022 at Pataskala Oaks. Clyde was born May 14, 1923 to the late John and Tilda (Grubb) Young in Lawrence, KY. He served in the US Army during WWII in the European and African Theater and is retired from St. Ann's Hospital. Clyde is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Esther Young; son, Marvin (Gwen) Young; grandchildren, Shelia Thompson, Joyce Clark; great-grandchildren, Michele, Deven, Chris, Jacob, Danni, Destiny, Jianye, Dietrick; great-great-grandson, Zedickih; great-great granddaughter, Meiomi; sister-in-law, Janette Young; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by children, Melvin, Betty; granddaughter, Renee Melanie; great-grandson, Xinlong; brothers, Walt, Con, Luther, Davy, Carl, Junior, Billie; sisters, Ida, Plima, Susie, Sarah, and Estey. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 06, 2022, from 5 - 7PM at the Pfeifer Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11AM at East Side Grace Brethren Church with Pastor Chip Heim officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
