Wilmer H. McTeague, age 73, of Etna, passed away on December 19, 2014, at Pataskala Oaks surrounded by family. Bill was born July 31, 1941 to the late Hugh and Adrienne (Park) McTeague in Columbus. He was a past officer of the Reynoldburg Chamber of Commerce and retired president of Best Hoovler McTeague Insurance. Bill's family was his world, especially his grandchildren that lovingly called him ""Pop"". He was an avid fan of the Browns and Buckeyes, who loved to wear his Buckeye gear in Northern Michigan to stir up trouble. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years , Nancy (Deibel) McTeague; sons, Marc (Michele) McTeague, Matthew McTeague, Michael (Monica) McTeague, John (Valerie) Grundey, Jeffrey (Kathryn) Grundey, Joseph Grundey; grandchildren, Alexis, Riley, Colin, Jacob, Ian, Payton, Jack, Kevaughn, Max, Lucy, Calla; nephew, Jeff; and niece, Kelly. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Susie Bennett. Bill's family would like to especially thank Chris & Gary Foley and other extended family, along with life long friends Jim Stockdale and Dave Scheetz for their support through this long journey. Visitations will be held on MONDAY, December 22, 2014, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m, at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, where his funeral will follow on Tuesday, at 12 p.m., with Pastor Steve Markle officiating. The family suggest donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Gentiva Hospice in Bill's memory.
